Premier Plan

Our Premier plan offers you and your dependents basic personal legal protection from life’s unpredictable events, plus additional coverage for your most anticipated needs. This affordable plan has benefits which include telephone advice, office consultation and coverage on common legal needs including:

  • Adoption
  • Bankruptcy
  • Family Law
  • Dissolution of Marriage
  • Estate Planning
  • Document Review
  • Document Preparation
  • Wills, Codicils & Living Wills
  • Traffic Tickets
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Name Change
  • Traffic Violations
  • Consumer Matters

Our Premier Plan offers a combination of covered services at no additional cost and other services on a discounted basis. Additionally, the Premier plan is offered to associations and employers as an employee benefit.

Exclusions

Benefits are not provided for the following:

  1. Administrative hearings before the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles and Highway Safety.
  2. Any Federal Administrative proceeding, such as Social Security Disability, Federal Aviation Administration, or any other administrative matter not specifically listed herein.
  3. Any state, county, or municipal administrative proceeding.
  4. Any matter involving vehicular homicide and/or felonies.
  5. Any claims for subrogation, indemnity or contribution.
  6. Any legal matter where Member is provided legal representation through insurance or similar indemnification arrangements and cases traditionally handled on a contingent fee basis.
  7. Any claim against Member or which Member wants to file resulting from the management and operation of a Business or commercial venture owned in whole or in part by the Member.
  8. Any employment related matters and/or disputes, such as Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Wrongful Termination, Wages and Salaries, etc.
  9. Unemployment & Workmen’s Compensation.
  10. Proceedings or controversies between:
    • Two GLS Members;
    • Member and his/her Sponsoring Group/Employer, union or management trust fund;
    • Member and GLS, its agents, assigns, officers, and or employees;
    • Member and any attorney or law firm who is a Member of any of the GLS Provider panels;
    • Member and any party to this Contract.
  11. Cases involving personal injury, libel, slander and/or defamation of character in which Member is a plaintiff or claimant.
  12. Bankruptcy cases filed under Chapters 11, 12 or 13.
  13. Class Action Suits.
  14. Preparation and filing of tax returns or any tax case or controversy.
  15. Tax Law.
  16. Maritime Law.
  17. Trademark, trade name, copyright, and/or patent law.
  18. Any court appellate proceeding.
  19. Any proceeding where, in the professional judgment of the Provider, the matter in question is or has become frivolous, spurious, without merit, or which would violate the professional rules of responsibility, any law, or where irreconcilable differences have arisen between the Member and the Provider.
  20. Any matter in which the Provider will be required to travel more than thirty (30) miles outside of the Provider’s office as designated by GLS, unless specific arrangements for fees and travel are made between Member and Provider.
  21. Any Member who relocates to a geographical area where GLS has no legal providers.
  22. Any matter outside of the State of Florida.
  23. Any matter not specifically stated herein.
